The Yahaya, who is in his late thirties, is married and has four children who are still going to school. He has had a construction welding business since 2000. He works from 7.30am to 6.30pm daily and is able to make a small monthly profit. This will be Yahaya's 5th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loans to buy spares parts for his welding business and to pay school fees for his children. He has paid back all his loans successfully. Yahaya is requesting another loan to buy more materials for the welding business. His dream is to one day finish building his house, which he has already started. Yahaya will share this loan with his loan group ,"Nyeupe", which has a total of 15 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back their loans.
