Two titles were settled at Sepang as Jorge Lorenzo took his first ever MotoGP crown, whilst Toni El�as was confirmed as the first ever Moto2 World title holder.
Ahead of the start of the action Loris Capirossi gave an idea of the Sepang layout, and the OnBoard cameras captured the best of the thrills from the bikes all through the weekend. An substitute type of activity was provided for the 105,000 fans who attended across all three days by the Paddock Girls.
Starting the weekend with a sign of things to come Valentino Rossi topped the timesheet in the breach practice, but with a first shot at claiming the 2010 title in the race Lorenzo stepped up the pace in FP2 and then secured his sixth pole position of the movement in qualifying.
As usual it was the 125cc class who kicked events off on race day and Red Bull Ajo Motorsport rider Marc M�rquez took his eighth win of the season to suppose the lead of the overall standings by just three points with as many rounds remaining.
In the Moto2 race Italtrans STR rider Roberto Rolfo took his first victory of the season, his first World finals win since his 250cc triumph at Jerez in 2004.
Fourth place for El�as was sufficient to hand him the opening Moto2 title and the Spaniard of the Gresini Racing team was understandably elated at his attainment when he spoked in an exclusive interview.
