Heaven help you if you are trying to fly anywhere domestically today, given that half the country is in the grips of a terrible winter storm. If—big if—you are getting off the ground anytime soon, here's something to look forward to: free Facebook on most domestic flights.
Starting today and throughout the month of February, Gogo is offering free in-flight Facebook access to air travelers on Delta, United, Virgin, Air Trans, American Airlines, US Airways, and Alaska Airlines.
That's the good news. If you want to access the rest of the Internet; prices start at $4.95. Gogo, an in-flight Internet service provider that services about 3800 flights a day (not including the 5000 private planes on its clients list), reports that Facebook is the most-visited site on its network.
