This Kiva borrower is a 42-year-old married man living with his wife and four young children who are still attending school. He has been working as a home painter for the past 20 years. He works on a freelance basis taking on home projects. His income is vital to support his family and be able to pay the heavy expenses of life. Today, he is requesting to borrow $1200 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to purchase a mini-van for his work. In that way, he will benefit from making his transportation faster and easier especially since he serves customers located in different areas and villages. He hopes to further expand his business and continue his work properly to earn good income for his family. In the future, he is planning to open his own shop where he can sell house paint and all related tools.
