Luz de Villa Nueva group Hortencia is 49 years old and has three grown-up children. Her youngest [daughter] works and lives with her. Hortencia has in businesses since she was very young. For 20 years, she sold beauty products, clothes and shoes as an itinerant street vendor. Over time, she decided to open premises in her home where she would sell her merchandise. She then added to her sales inventory and started selling products from catalogs, stuffed toys, decorations, etc. Hortencia is requesting this loan to invest in footwear and new clothes. Her dream is to expand her business and open new premises. She hopes that, in the future, her children will also own their own businesses so that they can enjoy a better future. Browson is 29 years old and has two young children. He has been working for five years making short trips in a three-wheeled vehicle, in his community. He currently has 3 three-wheeled vehicles and two years ago he opened a bakery. He is requesting this loan to invest in his bakery. Browson's dream is to be able to open another bakery and for his children to study and become upstanding citizens.
